HubSpot is always 'SFTC' (solving for the customer) to help companies digitally transform their marketing, sales and customer service operations. As a HubSpot Solutions Partner, we love everything that HubSpot has to offer to help industrial, technical and engineering companies grow. Here's the highlights of the product updates in April to help you get the most out of the platform and accelerate your sales, marketing and customer service.

HubSpot product updates Apr 22

Associate forms with marketing campaigns

HubSpot Forms can now be associated with Marketing Campaigns in HubSpot. Just like Landing Pages, CTAs and other marketing assets, it works exactly the same. This includes forms embedded on HubSpot pages, and forms embedded on external websites and content management systems (CMSes).

By a very wide margin, forms are one of, if not the most critical asset in any marketing campaign. They are the moment when someone goes from being unknown, to being a lead; from being uninterested or indifferent, to be willing to give you their information. That's big!

Microsoft Exchange integrations for email and calendar

Users can now connect their Microsoft Exchange account to HubSpot as a connected inbox or for use with the Meetings tool. This includes the option of using a static IP range that can be added to an allowlist by IT teams.

The integration is designed for accounts using on-premises servers running Exchange 2010 SP2 and above. Exchange Online users should connect using the Office 365 integration.

This integration has been specifically built using Microsoft’s best practices for syncing data with Exchange servers to ensure the most reliable experience for our users.

A connected inbox enables users to send individual emails and Sequences, as well as log email replies to the CRM. An integrated calendar allows users to create Meetings links to share with contacts.

Improved Associations

In order to grow better, your CRM software must allow you to represent the complex relationships that make up your business. HubSpot uses associations to do that. With this update, every customer gets more flexibility with their company associations with contacts, deals, and tickets. Professional and Enterprise customers get some additional control, with customised labels to describe the exact nature of those relationships. Enterprise accounts with custom objects can now define associations for them in the HubSpot interface—a big improvement over using an API.

CRM phone number property improvements

New standardisation and formatting features for phone numbers in HubSpot.

"56% of people prefer to communicate with a business by phone"

Calling is an essential channel for sales and service professionals. Reps are frustrated with having to parse through dozens of phone number formats, country codes, and other inconsistency when trying to make a call. HubSpot now takes care of validating and formatting phone numbers, so reps can focus on delivering value to their customers & prospects efficiently.

Task priority options

We are excited to announce that you are now able to assign additional priorities (high, medium, low, and none) on tasks. This is available in all the areas of the platform where tasks are created such as Workflow, Sequences, Task app, Record pages, etc.

There was lots of feedback that priorities for tasks are important. In fact, this is the number 1 undelivered request on the HubSpot Community Forum for Tasks. It is now possible to assign high, medium, low, and none as priorities on tasks. These additional options will help you better prioritise which tasks to focus your time on first.

If you'd like to see some of these features in action, then book a demo...
